Womens Think Tank is a succession to World Think Tank. Eighty percent of the responses received through World Think Tank were women wanting to have their voices heard and thoughts known. It became obvious a dedicated platform was needed. In August of 2003, Womens Think Tank was created.
World Think tank still serves as the main base or portal for all known Think Tanks yet now shares its vast resources to the success of Womens Think Tank. 
In regards to the first Womens Think Tank retreat, this too is being created by the many requests of women respondents. Women are generally the caretakers of the world. That results in the majority of the women population too often giving yet getting little time to recharge. If women are to become the dominant voice in the world, this lack of "my time" has to change. Women will be given a virtual and physical place to go get a break, spend time with others of like in mind or just relax at both the web site, planned conferences and the first of many women's retreats.
The retreat shown here is being built to "Green" standards which is essentially a self-sustaining center that give back more than it takes from Mother Earth. If that sounds unusual, it is. Until recently, all buildings were made to consume Earths natural resources, pollute and create waste.
